Artist Statement

Hi I am Christian Jordan, a 9th grader at Blue Valley West High School, and I'm taking photography 2 this year. Some things I like besides photography, are coding, gaming, and robotics building. I got into photography because my dad owns a photography business, so that is when I first got my hands on a camera, and I've loved taking photos ever since then. Last year a lot of the photos are about my three cats named Maggie, Remi and Kimber. The main reason why is because they're in some of my photos is because they are amazing subjects. My favorite photos are the ones of the ghost of Kimber in the ground, and the ghost of Maggie in the ground. I like these photos because of the how well you can see the cats even though they are in the background. This year my photos are all over the place, and the reason why is because I tried to experiment this year trying new techniques. I hope you enjoy my work, and I would love to improve my skills further to become a better photographer.
